About Naples

Naples, FL is located on the Gulf Coast side of Florida in Collier County. Naples is known for its pristine beaches and small town lifestyle. Once a quaint fishing town, Naples now welcomes thousands of vacationers and winter residents each year.

From sunbathing, to fishing, golfing to tennis, Naples and the residential communities within it offer a wealth of recreational activities for residents and visitors of all ages.

Our Tour of Naples starts with our most famous landmark: The Naples Pier and Naples' beaches. The Naples Pier (pictured left) stretches 1000 feet out into the Gulf of Mexico. Half way down the pier, you can get a small snack to enjoy your stroll.

Most residents and visitors come to the pier each night- just before sunset. As the sun begins to set, hundreds of people pack the pier to watch the sky turn colors over the Naples' horizon.

Our gorgeous stretch of white sand beaches also offers a constant playground for sun worshipers all over the world.

For the avid shopper Naples offers a variety of unique specialty shops and boutiques. Stroll down 3rd Street and 5th Avenue past the art galleries, specialty shops, unique boutiques and more. It's a shopper's paradise!
Stroll down 5th Avenue South and enjoy the architectural delights and many gourmet restaurants.

Applaud the arts at the Sudgen Theater in downtown Naples, and enjoy the Naples Alligators,a part of a fund-raising event for the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County and the Naples Art Association, located at the von Liebig Art Center, both in Naples.
The Naples Depot- a historical building is located on 5th avenue and 10th. Naples is known for its charming little pieces of history from days gone by when it was just a lazy fishing town.

Doctor's Pass. also known as the 'middle pass', is one of several picturesque spots in Naples which affords fantastic views to the homes and condos that surround the water. The Passes provide an area for fine fishing, but mostly for use for access to the Gulf. The sparkling waters of the adjoining bay provide a perfect setting for a grand collection of boats, restaurants, shops and neighboring homes.

If you're staying for only a short while, there are many hotel and resorts to choose from in the area. Two of the more popular ones are the Naples Registry and the Ritz Carlton- a four diamond resort located on the Gulf of Mexico.

Lowdermilk Park is a popular hang out spot for beach goers- and for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing day in Naples. With a quaint gazebo, and an excellent little hamburger stand, this park is a great place to spend a warm winter afternoon.

Park Shore is a beautiful community that stretches along a thin body of land, surrounded by water. If you're interested in living in a luxury community where there isn't a bad view to be found, Park Shore may be the perfect place for you.
