Just thinking about moving can be overwhelming.  Where do you start?  What will you do with all of your possessions?  I can help bring the monumental task at hand into a manageable and even pleasant experience.   I will work with you and your family and customize a moving plan based on your needs whether you are moving across town or out of state.   As the owner of All The Right Moves, a Senior Move Management Company, I assist older adults and families with the physical and emotioanl demands of downsizing and relocating.  I reduce the chaos and anxiety associated with a move by creating and executing a seamless plan, customized to the client's wishes.   Specifically, I assist with the sorting, organizng, and packing of possessions and arrange for the profitable removal of unwanted items.  I interview and oversee the movers, handle details such as change of address, unpack and organize the new residence.  Other services availabe are home staging, decorating, coordinating with workmen and more.

What I Offer Free In-Home Consultation

 

I will help you determine which belongings to take by working with you to sort through closets, attics and garages.

I will help you dispose of unneeded items through sale, auction or charitable donation.

I can create a floor plan of your new residence to determine which pieces of furniture will fit.

Administrative tasks

I can handle all the administrative tasks related to relocating such as forwarding your mail and magazine subscriptions, notifying the utility companies and make the required changes to service, and cancel or change your newspaper subscription.

I can coordinate your move with the administrators at assisted living or nursing home facilities or with your current home association..

Getting Your Former Home Ready for Sale     

I will sort through your household items and furniture and empty the residence according to your wishes. With my wide network of professionals, I will oversee the cleaning, updating, and any needed repairs to get your home ready for sale.  I can even stage your home if needed.  I will help you select a mover. I will work with your Realtor or I can list and sell your home.

     Moving Day - unpacking and organizing

I will oversee the mover on Moving Day.

I will empty your refrigerator and freezer and transport your perishables to their new location.

I will unpack every box and organize your entire residence.

Everything:  furniture, personal items, clothes, dishes, linens and food is put in its place.

I can also help you decorate your new home and shop for needed items.

I will plug in the phones and set the clocks.  I will set-up your computer system.

And even make the bed!

And of course, I will disposal of all boxes and packing material.

And finally     I will make you feel like you are home!
